The objective of this work is to present the results of the analysis of the contributions of the concepts of Statistics for the development of Critical Thinking and to propose didactic activities that involve these concepts. We performed a documental analysis at the BNCC and interpreted the data with the aid of the Revised Bloom Taxonomy. As a result, the relationship between the skills suggested in the BNCC for Teaching Statistics and the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive processes emerged. We verified that there are countless possibilities to develop the CT from the application of the concepts of Statistics, but the activities that involve daily actions of the students promote greater engagement of them and as they are developed, according to the pedagogical intention adopted by the teacher , the greater the effectiveness of learning and development of the PC.
