GREEN MARKETING: A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS SOCIOMETRIC AND THE LAST 20 YEARS

The present study investigated the profile of the research and development of the theme Green Marketing in the articles published in journals Qualis B2 to A1, from 1992 to 2011. It was an exploratory study, sociometric and bibliometric analysis, which also used a quantitative approach and descriptive statistics. We analyzed 23 articles published in the period. It was concluded that: the subject has not reached maturity; there is strong centrality of the actors; the publications of two or moreauthors are prevalent. Carrieri, A. P. and Motta, S. L. S. are the most prolific authors; Kotler, P. is the most cited author, and qualitative research, quantitative, bibliographic; and exploratory case study, stand out as types of research.
