The objective of this work is to discuss the effects of the “Green Cleaning” project in a Higher Education Institution considering the concepts of Critical Environmental Education, Curricular Environmentalization and Sustainability and Art. The records of the action carried out in the spaces of the University that participated in the research and the semi-structured interview conducted with students and teachers of the same institution were analyzed. The results highlight the fact that the university natural environments receive precarious care and that the “Green Cleaning” project has reflexively mobilized the students who conducted the project, professors of the institution and the external community when exposing the artistic productions in a space of intense circulation.
