This work aims to analyze the fabric of a new cultural fabric, whose foundations are based on the technologies. The point is that this new fabric comes directly against a school scene, where the binomial power / knowledge still prevails. Thereunto, a cartographic map of the Brazilian educational model will be presented and how continuing education becomes a possibility for didactic transformation, specifically in relation to the Specialization Course in Digital Culture of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, which constitutes this research clipping. The elements presented here justify the need to consolidate a dialogical educational project, reflective and critical, which allows the encounter among teachers as a way of establishing a permanent movement in view of knowledge, and therefore, the emancipation of the subjects, who need be able to read critically the multiple forms of writing of the contemporary world.
