This article aims to analyze the actions of the UFOP Bus-Library Extension Project for the training of readers, especially the training of literary readers. The specific objectives of the work are: to identify the practices of literary literacy that occurred within the scope of the Bus-Library Project work; analyze the project's contributions to the formation of readers, more specifically literary readers. The investigation is based on studies on literacy, literary literacy and reading mediation. As a research methodology, we adopted a qualitative approach through documentary research and semi-structured interviews. We point out the practices of literary literacy and the methodologies applied in each event held, such as storytelling; games and reading wheels. After analyzing the content of the collected data, we ratify the importance of the Project in the formation of readers, specifically literary readers, by appearing in communities, proposing literary activities and making books available. We also identified, in a more systematic way, how this university-community collaboration takes place.
