The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) brought a new perspective on the realization of Human Rights. The 17 goals and 169 goals are part of a global agenda called the 2030 agenda, which must be met not only by states, but also by companies, civil society and academy. Through a joint effort, it seeks to end poverty, protect the environment and ensure that all people achieve peace and prosperity, with no one being left behind. In this sense, this article has the scope to analyze the SDG n°. 15 and the fulfillment, in Brazil, of its targets set for the year 2020. Using the hypothetical-deductive method, as well as from a bibliographic and documentary research, it is concluded that, with regard to the goals imposed for compliance by the year 2020, Brazil failed to achieve it.
