Abstract

The purpose of this study is to deal with the Martin Heidegger’s transforming role in the significant changes that took place in the field of Philosophy and Hermeneutics in the 20th century. These transformations refer to the overcoming of the subject-object scheme through the linguistic turn, which establishes an absolute link between the thought and the language, and the creation of a fundamental ontology, that goes through the revision of the way of development of the philosophy and operates a destruction of the metaphysical tradition in the search to put the question of being at the center of philosophical discussions. The research develops through bibliographical research and aims to approach the new vision established by Heidegger, which gives new meaning to the method proposed by Schleiermacher and modifies the paradigm until then, ending by inserting hermeneutics in the plane of the Dasein, that is, in the concreteness of human life. As a central hypothetical point, this insertion - which seeks to establish a way of understanding the being and communicating Dasein - is a sensible alteration of the course of hermeneutics and philosophy insofar as it retakes the fundamental philosophical point from the Aristotelian writings.
