ROAMING AND CHALLENGES TO THE CURRICULUM ENVIRONMENTALIZATION

Abstract

The text is a cut of the research carried out in a university in Santa Catarina State on curriculum environmentalization. Indications of the environmentalization of the ACES Network and studies of Latin American and Brazilian universities using MAXQDA software in Political-Pedagogical Projects of the Political-Pedagogical Projects and Teaching Plans of subjects support the research. The aim was to discuss how this insertion occurs in the light of a critical, transformative and emancipatory formation. Some of the results point to the difficulty of insertion of the environmental theme, sustainability and Environmental Education in the courses and subjects. The indications, when they occur, mostly relate to contents, and in a lesser extension, to skills and competences. There is a need of intensification of efforts to insert the thematic in a critical, transformative and emancipatory way.
