Learning art through creative processes refers directly to young children, explorers of places and researchers of gestures, movements, sounds, colors and mixtures thereof. Learning art in early childhood education is the subject of this article that has an essay nature. The goal is to seek connections between the creative processes in art with young children, considering the vital role that teachers play in the promotion of this learning. Based on the dialogue between educational projects in art developed with young children and childhood studies, it brings elements that indicate possible paths to art in early childhood education. As a result, teachers are stimulated to reconfigure their roles by working in partnership with children, experimenting materials and ways to give them life in educational approach centered in the processes of artistic creation.
