TEACHING CONCEPTIONS IN CHILDREN EDUCATION, ART AND AESTHETIC EDUCATION: RESEARCH AREA OF A RESEARCH GROUP

This essay was carried out with the aim of proposing a dialogue between Art and Education. By addressing topics such as the training of the Children Education teacher and conceptions of Aesthetic Education, based on research that the research group FRESTAS, connected to the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, built in the last four years (2014 to 2017). The article presents the courses traced by the group, highlighting the concept of aesthetics, more specifically Aesthetic Education, which has been subsidizing and constituting the personal and professional experiences which are integrated as foci of study. It is the exercise of throwing a panoramic look at the path taken in the investigation of these themes, elucidating the contour that today it assumes: the understanding of the aesthetic dimension of Education, which embraces Art and extends its scope.Downloads
