The aesthetic choices made by teachers for teaching in early childhood education are directly related to the content appropriate for their training. The objective in this text is to reflect on the possibilities of aesthetic and artistic development of teachers to work in Early Childhood Education. A bibliographic study was carried out with as primary references the texts Aesthetic Education and Imagination and creation in Childhood by L.S. Vigotski (1986-1934). This text considers that teacher training based on continuous studies on themes related to artistic knowledge and the creative activity of children can contribute to the reorganization of the actions performed in Child Education institutions aiming at the aesthetic development of students.
