TRAINING OF THE HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER IN BRAZIL AND THE NATIONAL EDUCATION PLAN

Abstract

The article has as object the training of the high school teacher. The goal is to understand aspects that point the settings of initial and continued training of the high school teachers, aligned to make the Basic Education turn into a social right. The discussion was held on the basis of educational indicators related to the level of education and Academic Training, with emphasis on Teacher Training Adequacy indicator, and the goals number 15 and 16 of the National Education Plan, approved by the law Nº. 13,005/2014. The data indicate the limits and the possibilities related to initial and continued training of high school teacher in Brazil. While specifying the distance from the proposed goals number 15 and 16, express advances related to the elevation of the teacher's education of High school.
