Abstract

This article reflects on the paths taken by an internship of the Faculty of Education of UFAL to achieve atypical adult condition, a term used by Corsaro (2005) to refer to a non-adult-centred attitude to enter in the childhood universe. The reflection contemplates both the strategies adopted as the mistakes made during episodes of play. It is based on the analysis of six episodes of play removed from the internship report that records the development of an intervention project with a group of 3-4 years old children in an early childhood educational institution of the university. As for theoretical foundation, the studies are based on Corsaro (2005, 2011) and Brougère (1998, 2008). The episodes show how slowly the children insert the student in their actions and accept her, allowing her to participate in their play routines and commune of their peer cultures.
