This is a qualitative approach research which, for this article, a documentary analysis was performed of accreditation public notices of aforementioned project. Findings indicate that amounts allocated to private institutions to care of children from 2 to 5 years old have increased every year, and that information about quality of education offered by partner institutions is little known. It is concluded that expansion of vacancies in Early Childhood Education with public funds in private institutions results from the application of neoliberal principles in education field, threaten public education, and brings difficulties for social control of the quality of education.
