Abstract

This article originates from research at the doctoral level and presents reflections on pedagogical practices with babies, especially in the relationships they establish with books in early childhood education. As a methodological tool, ethnography was listed, due the desire to give visibility to the plots and experiences of children, while participating in the research. Through the experiences with books, babies discover the world and themselves, thus, the analyzes presented discuss the potential of the literary project for babies and their relations with books in the library space and the researched nursery room.

  • Fernanda Gonçalves, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina
    Doutora em Educação pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, linha de pesquisa Sujeitos, Processos Educativos e Docência (SUPED). É Mestre em Educação pela mesma universidade, na linha de pesquisa Educação e Infância (2014). É Graduada em Pedagogia também pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2012). É integrante do Grupo de Pesquisa em Literatura Infantil e Juvenil e Práticas de Mediação Literária (LITERALISE). Atua como membro do Conselho Editorial Nacional da Revista Zero-a-Seis (ISSN 1980-4512). É Professora colaboradora do curso de Pedagogia da Faculdade Municipal da Palhoça (FMP). É Professora de formação continuada no SENAC (SC).
