Construction and demolition waste must be handled with care due to the lack of landfill space and the possible hazardous substances contained therein. Thus, services and products appear as means of solution. This trend drives service providers on a quest to excel in delivering customer value and gaining competitive advantage. As sustainable ideas serve as a highlight of a service provider, the work aims to identify opportunities to improve the civil construction waste management service for the development of new service packages. The proposal consisted of expanding the software functionality of a consulting micro company, allowing interaction between the construction company and others involved in waste management. Such interaction results in a service called civil construction waste exchange. The benefits represent improvements in the external dimension, and the proposed sustainable service is one more step towards total customer service. As for the internal dimension, the proposed service represents progress at a strategic level.
