This text reports on an investigation conducted over the Recreative traditional street games (RTSG) developed in the Municipality of Caldas (Antioquia-Colombia). The article informs about the Social Representations (SR) of those students of municipality about relationship game-competence in RTGS. It is a qualitative ethnographic issue. The information gathers across a field journal, photo ethnography and photo ethodiscussion. Regarding to the competition in the games, the student’s voices outline two types of citizens: competitive and playful, classification that identifies – in their social representations – the formative potential across the competence in the Recreative traditional street games.
