Abstract

It is known that in Brazil there is a significant cultural diversity. The Brazilian education lately has been incorporating into their spaces to diversity in its territory, considering the different regions and issues related to ethnicity, class, gender and others. This article aims to discuss, in an articulate way, the movement that gave rise to affirmative action policies, and its interior, as one of the key aspects of this policy, the law 10.639/03.
