Abstract

Maybe the initial question, since the theme of the round table is Philosophy at school and in the professor’s training: why? What for?, supposed to be Philosophy: why? What for? For this, it is understood that, firstly, we need to be clear about the concept of Philosophy, that, just for an initial idea, can be understood as the Science that teach us how to live, according to the Philosopher Montaigne or, in a different way, as the practice of autonomous and creative thinking, in Silvio Gallo’s view and many other. After it is clear, it is possible start a reflection about Philosophy, both at school and in professor’s training, why and what for. In this way and obviously in a brief mode, we intend to outline the concept of Philosophy and after reflect upon some practices from personal experiences reports about Philosophy at school and also in professor’s training.
