Abstract

The article discusses the school curriculum reformation in Minas Gerais, in line with the national program Ensino Médio Inovador, within the National Pact to strengthen the high school, since 2012. It is presented as the biggest change in the school curriculum already proposed by the state government of Minas Gerais. It is justified by the need to modernize teaching and adapt it to participate in the knowledge society. However, we identified the general lowering of basic and classic training of public school students, and a differentiation process that increases among students from different shifts. In addition, the impact on the teaching work is presented as the training in the work of a new type teacher, flexible. The work will be done with alienation deepening. Motivations, impact, change and possible outcomes are also analyzed.
