The concern about health and environmental aspects is increasingly part of people's daily lives; however, little is known about whether people prioritize these issues. Based on this assumption, this article aims to verify if consumers are more concerned with environmental issues or with the healthy consumption of food. Through a non-probabilistic sample with 200 residents of the city of Dom Pedrito/RS, it was found that people give the same level of importance to environmental issues and to the consumption of healthy foods. It was also observed, that environmental concerns and healthy food consumption do not depend on gender, age group, level of education and income. It is concluded, therefore, that in principle, people are increasingly looking for information that can contribute both to a better quality of life and to the prevalence of an environmentally correct world.
