In order to try to analyse what are the scientific contributions on this theme, this article was produced through a systematic review of the literature and a qualitative synthesis goal, where an attempt was made to obtain an answer to the following research question: what is the contribution about the creation of a sustainable city? Publications and documents were selected from five databases. After conducting an analysis of selected scientific productions, studies on the topic have made great progress in recent years, where authors of different nationalities discuss adaptation and mitigation proposals so that urban centres become more resilient and sustainable, as for example with the role of urban factories, however, it is noted that further and more specific studies on the subject are still needed.Downloads
