Abstract

The process of change towards sustainability has received the focus of innovation as the basis for building dynamic for a 'transition'. From this vision, the goal of this theoretical essay is to identify how the context of innovation can help with the transition to sustainability from a complex perspective. In the discussions, it is understood that in a multi-level perspective and a sense of incomplete and uncertain situations, the use of (re) configurations socio-technical leads to understand that the whole is a result of the parties, the following logical micro-meso-macro creates a new context and guided by effective schemes for innovation, whereas the themes analyzed in essence has to be antagonistic, concurrent and complementary.
