Erratum and retraction policy

The JRevista de Direito da Faculdade Guanambi adopts procedures to record and publish errata, retractions, and expressions of concern based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and SciELO.

In case of need for corrections, updates, or retractions in originals, these must be sent in writing to the electronic address [email protected].

a) ERRATUM

The Editorial Team may publish errata when the article has typographical or diagramming errors, or there is the need to correct the title of the article, name of the author(s).

b) RETRACTION

Retraction is a public instrument to register problems with a published article (partial retraction) or to communicate its cancellation (full retraction). In any case, the retracted article, in whole or in part, will not be removed from the journal.

The Editorial Team may retract the article when it has clear evidence that the research findings are unreliable, either as a result of a robust error (e.g., miscalculation or grammatical error) or as a result of fabrication (e.g., data) or falsification (e.g., image manipulation); there is plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or redundant publication; the research findings have been previously published elsewhere and there is no citation, communication of the fact to editors, permission to republish, or justification; the article contains information or materials with no authorization for their use; copyright is infringed or there is any other relevant legal issue (for example, the use of images without permission); the article presents unethical research; the article has been published based on a compromised or manipulated peer review; the authors have not reported a relevant conflict of interest that, in the editors' perspective, has unduly affected the interpretations of the paper or the recommendations of the editors and peer reviewers.

c) EXPRESSION OF CONCERN

The Editorial Team will issue an expression of concern when there is concern about the reliability of an article, but insufficient information is available to warrant a retraction.
