Abstract

This article presents partial research results on a sustainability analysis of the lean construction system based on a case study in Santana do Araguaia-PA. The research allowed an analysis of the positive impact of companies that operate in the construction market in the Araguaia region, using this construction system. The study allowed evaluating the applicability of the lean construction system, observing the concept and criterion of sustainability in the construction market. The development of this research took place through a case study, interviews, application of a questionnaire and collection/analysis of data from companies. The work carried out a structured reading of the local reality in light of the lean construction system, which consists of optimizing the productivity of works, from planning to execution.
