In search of improvement in the management of solid waste, presented in the National Policy of Solid Waste (Law no. 12305/2010) also comes another approach: on the waste of heritage movable property. Given this arises the decree n. 9373/2018, in order to facilitate decision-making by public managers, as it regulates the disposal, assignment, transfer, disposal and the environmentally appropriate final disposal of movable property in the direct federal public administration. Through it, institutions were able to standardize their procedures, facilitating classification and disposal of waste. Thus, this study aims to analyze the waste management of movable property at the Federal University of Tocantins, especially in relation to the application of decree no. 9373/2018. The methodology of the study was divided into two phases: the first is the theoretical phase, through information gathering, using literature review and legislation on the subject, and the second phase was the conduct of unstructured interviews with servers of the Administrative Technical Board of the University. As a result, it was observed that the Federal University of Tocantins has the decree as the main parameter to regulate the decisions made regarding movable property, however there are still some difficulties in the asset management. This may be justified by the University's multicampi logistics or even the absence of a more intuitive asset control system.Downloads
