MODELO PARA AVALIAÇÃO DO NÍVEL DE DESEMPENHO DA INFRAESTRUTURA PORTUÁRIA EM PORTOS E TERMINAIS COM OPERAÇÃO DE CARGA CONTEINERIZADA REEFER

Resumo

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar um modelo desenvolvido para medir, avaliar e classificar o nível de desempenho da infraestrutura portuária em portos e terminais com operação de carga conteinerizada reefer. Nesse contexto, medir e avaliar o nível de desempenho da infraestrutura portuária e terminais de carga containezirada reefer permitirá a análise e auxílio na tomada de decisão dos gestores das empresas clientes e prestadoras desses serviços. Como método, adotou-se a abordagem mista, com objetivos exploratório e descritivo, com uso de questionários estruturados com base nos fatores e indicadores observados na literatura, que foram legitimados junto aos gestores dos principais portos e terminais portuários com operação de carga conteinerizada reefer no sul do Brasil. Os resultados da aplicação empírica do método em cinco terminais demonstraram que o modelo proposto é adequado para medir, avaliar e classificar os portos e terminais, uma vez que conseguiu capturar o desempenho dos melhores níveis de desempenho da infraestrutura portuária para operar serviços com carga containeirizada reefer.
