MODELO PARA EVALUAR EL NIVEL DE DESEMPEÑO DE LA INFRAESTRUCTURA PORTUARIA EN PUERTOS Y TERMINALES CON OPERACIÓN DE CARGA REFRIGERADA EN CONTENEDORES

Resumen

Este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar un modelo desarrollado para medir, evaluar y clasificar el nivel de desempeño de la infraestructura portuaria en puertos y terminales con operación de carga refrigerada contenerizada. En este contexto, la medición y evaluación del nivel de desempeño de la infraestructura portuaria y terminales de carga refrigerada contenerizada permitirá analizar y ayudar en la toma de decisiones por parte de los gerentes de las empresas clientes y proveedores de estos servicios. En metodo se adoptó el enfoque mixto, con objetivos exploratorio y descriptivo, utilizando cuestionarios estructurados basados en factores e indicadores observados en la literatura, que fueron legitimados por los administradores de los principales puertos y terminales portuarios con operación de carga refrigerada en contenedores en el sur de Brasil. Los resultados de la aplicación empírica del método en cinco terminales mostraron que el modelo propuesto fue adecuado para medir, evaluar y clasificar puertos y terminales, ya que logró captar el desempeño de los mejores niveles de desempeño de la infraestructura portuaria para operar servicios con contenedores frigorífico de carga.
