Abstract

 In this work, we intend to analyze the relationship between childhood, media consumption and perception based on concepts brought by Emanuele Coccia in his book Sensible Life (2010). The discussion presented here intends to dialogue based on the analysis of the video “My dolls Maria Clara and JP went to meet Santa Claus”, from the channel for children on YouTube entitled Maria Clara and JP, specifically observing how the plot of the video was presented and the use puppets in their scenes.

    Pedagogue and Theologian. Post Doctorate in Religious Sciences (2012) at UMESP- Methodist University in São Bernardo do Campo-SP. PhD in Sociology from the Federal University of Paraíba (2008). Master in Information Science from the Federal University of Paraíba (2000) and Master in Theology from the Faculty of Theological Teaching of São Paulo (1995). She is an Adjunct Professor at the Field Education Department-DEC at the Federal University of Paraíba-UFPB, at the Education Center-CE. Professor and researcher at the Graduate Program in Communication -PPGC-UFPB in the line of research: Media, Daily Life and Imaginary. He has experience in the area of ​​higher education, working mainly with the theme Education, Communication, Media, Daily Life and Imagination. Also developing reflections in Sociology of Education, Rural Education, Cultural Anthropology, Anthropological Structures of the Imaginary, Symbolic Systems, Research and Educational Practices of Rural Education and Methodology of Scientific Work.     Master's student in Communication and Media Cultures at the Federal University of Paraíba. Specialized in Communication & Marketing by Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (2019). Bachelor in Social Communication, with a line of training in Educommunication, from the Federal University of Campina Grande (2016). He has experience in the field of Discourse Analysis. She developed research on the themes: gender and sexuality, feminism, social representations, television, cartoons, cinema, horror, games and the use of technologies in education.
