Abstract

The poem ‘Bosnien 92, 93’ belongs to the collection of poems Post Bellum, published in 2000 in Zurich. Dragica Raj?i?, author of this collection, was born in Croacia and lived in Switzerland, for many years, where she wrote and published literary texts in German. Introducing the imprint of foreignness in her poems, Raj?i? defamiliarizes a series of perceptions, which concern ideas about national belongingness, lyrical speech, gender questions, but also ideas about the linguistic material which forms the basis of a poem. Thus, this article aims to analyse defamiliarization strategies present in the poem ‘Bosnien 92, 93’.
