The indigenous people in À Margem da História

Abstract

This paper explores the indigenous people images in À Margem da História, by Euclides da Cunha, specifically on the papers “Os caucheiros” and “Brasileiros". First, we made a brief abstract of stories that leave the indigenous people out of their plot, and then we analyse how the Euclidian argument sustain the inevitable extinction of the Amazon Indigenous people.
