This article intends to establish a dialogue between Andrei Tarkovski’s film, The Mirror (1974) and the theoretical concepts of the filmmaker, in his book Sculpting in Time (1985), with emphasis in the relations between cinema and poetry. It also investigates the autobiographycal gender and the way as the Arseni Tarkovski’s poems constitute a sort of underlying theme of the plot, from the bordering situation between life and fiction.Downloads
