In the present essay, we propose a brief critical analysis for Brazilian Angela Lago's picture-book O cântico dos cânticos (1992), searching for signs of incarnated affect in its double pages. Aiming the execution of such exercise, we start from the methodology proposed by the Frenchs Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari (1992), when they discuss about percepts and affects on the constitution of a philosophical thought; also mobilizing the writings of Georges Didi-Huberman (2012;2013), regarding to the effects present on the incarnated images of Art History. As a reinforcement to our reading for this pictorial narrative, we seek the thoughts from the Brazilian Lucia Santaella (1993), in her Peircean theory of perception, about the use of visual percepts in producing sensations.Downloads
