Abstract

Fiel is a textual hybrid of social novel and novel of formation, in which are presented social landscapes and rites of passage typical of urban life. This article aims at understanding the relations between aesthetical form and social process in one of the most important works of the so-called Peripherical Literature.

  • Marcus Rogério Salgado, Doutor em Ciência da Literatura (UFRJ). Professor Adjunto de Literatura Brasileira (UFRJ).
    Doutor em Ciência da Literatura (UFRJ) e mestre em Literatura Brasileira (UFRJ). Autor de dois livros de ensaios: A vida vertiginosa dos signos (2007) e A arqueologia do resíduo: os ossos do mundo sob o olhar selvagem (2013). Traduziu obras de Jean Lorrain, Pierre Mabille, Ted Hughes etc. Lecionou Teoria da Literatura e Literatura Brasileira em diversas instituições de ensino superior no Brasil (UFF e UnB) e no exterior (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela). Atualmente é Professor Adjunto de Literatura Brasileira na UFRJ.
