Abstract

The aim is to discuss about Photography as a primary document of Performance on visual arts by means of the appropriate performative term from the philosopher J. L. Austin. This appropriation and use allows not only a review on the production of records that accompanied the Performances since the 1960 decade, as well as allowing to think on the amplification of the notion of Performance in the field of visual arts.
