Abstract

The Objectivist poetic of the argentinean decades of the 80's and 90's are referred in this article as it was conceived by the magazine Diario de Poesía. Through essays, summaries and poems, we review the external background, the poetry of William Carlos William, the Imagism of Ezra Pound and the ways of reading and re writing this poetics in a retrospective gesture so much as in a way of questioning some of these assumptions.
