Discourse and axiological competence in Portuguese textbooks

Abstract

This paper aims at analyzing the presence of didactic strategies used to develop the attitudinal-axiological competence, i. e., affective and subjective aspects, in Portuguese textbooks. The study is based on the semiolinguistics approach to the didactic discourse, and the analytical categories are Thematizations and Problematization as they occur in these textbooks.
