Abstract

The goal of the present work is to discuss possible theoretical-methodological consequences of a phrase employed by M. Pêcheux in Semântica e discurso (1988): "linguistic imagination (verbal body)". Still Pêcheux is revisited under the perspective that for the author a study that takes such an issue into consideration should allow one to delimit the enunciation from a point of view not yet considered by linguistics, that is, it should allow one to theorize "a linguistic correspondent of the Freudian imagination and ego".
