Resumo

O empreendedorismo internacional de enclave étnico é estudado em diversas comunidades de imigrantes da Europa, Estados Unidos, Canadá e Austrália, no entanto, há poucos estudos a respeito dos brasileiros que empreendem no exterior. Esse artigo visa suprir essa lacuna. Através da descrição das trajetórias pretende-se ampliar o entendimento do contexto de negócios voltados para o enclave étnico, bem como entender como se configuram os estoques de capital humano, social e econômico de empreendedores imigrantes e suas implicações sobre as trajetórias empreendedoras. São feitas considerações, ao final do artigo, baseadas na literatura das possíveis razões, vantagens e implicações de suas escolhas.

  • Eduardo Cruz, Universidade Federal Fluminense
    Possui graduação em Administracao pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (1998), mestrado em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (2002) e doutorado em Engenharia Química pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2007). Atualmente é professor Associado I do Departamento de Empreendedorismo e Gestão - STE da Universidade Federal Fluminense, responsável pelas disciplinas de Matemática Financeira, Avaliação de Investimentos e Internacionalização de Negócios. Coordena o projeto de pesquisa de Empreendedorismo de Imigrantes e o Curso de MBA Executivo em Gestão Empreendedora. Atua principalmente nas seguintes áreas: empreendedorismo de imigrantes, teoria da decisão, marketing, planejamento estratégico e finanças.

    Doutorando em Administração – IAG PUC, Mestre – MSc em Gestão Empresarial pela FGV – EBAPE. Rio (2014), Pós Graduado em Marketing pela ESPM (1998), Graduado em Engenharia Agronômica pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa – MG (1992). Profissional de Marketing com 20 anos de experiência na criação e desenvolvimento de novos negócios e projetos com base em análise de mercado. Atuação em cargos gerenciais na Coca-Cola, AMBEV, Fagga GL Events, além de outras experiências empreendedoras.Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: marketing, empreendedorismo, vendas, inovação, comportamento do consumidor, cultura, turismo e gestão de eventos. Experiência anterior em Docência – Universidade Cândido Mendes (2003 ? 2005) – Professor auxiliar. Ministrou as cadeiras de Marketing de Serviços, Lançamento de Produtos, Marketing Básico e Marketing Avançado, para os cursos de Gestão de Marketing e de Negócios. Fluente em inglês, espanhol e francês.
