EL USO DE TECNOLOGÍA DE LA INFORMACIÓN EN LA INNOVACIÓN DE SISTEMAS LOGÍSTICOS PORTUARIOS

Resumen

Las características de los Port Community Systems (PCS) afectan como la colaboración entre los actores y se pueden implementar en la comunidad portuaria. La digitalización hecha en terminales en el entorno de los PCS ha fomentado el desarrollo de la colaboración horizontal en la comunidad portuaria. El acceso a datos e informaciones relevantes crea oportunidades para nuevos modelos de negocios para la comunidad portuaria. A través del análisis realizado en este estudio, concluimos que la implementación de una Internet Física puede llevar décadas, pero el cambio en los servicios que brinda el PCS está configurando un cambio de mentalidad de Cadenas de Suministro Aisladas a Cadenas de Suministro Abiertas, impulsando la Internet Física.
