LAS CARACTERÍSTICAS DE LOS ENFOQUES ESTRATÉGICOS ADOPTADOS POR LAS FINTECHS BRASILEÑAS PARA COMPETIR EN LA INDUSTRIA DEL PAGO ELECTRÓNICO

Resumen

FinTechs son startups que adoptan modelos de negocio innovadores para competir con instituciones financieras establecidas. El estudio apunta a identificar las características de los enfoques estratégicos adoptados por FinTechs brasileñas para competir en la industria de pagos electrónicos. El análisis cualitativo comparativo (QCA) y el software fsQCA se utilizaron en base de las evidencias recopiladas de los ejecutivos de instituciones financieras y FinTechs. Los resultados demostraron la relevancia de tres características: tecnologías digitales, agilidad y experimentación. Otras dos características, visión y emergencia, fueron relativamente menos frecuentes. Los resultados se sintetizan en la expresión PTD+ITD+IAO+IER ? AEF.
