Abstract

This article aims to understand the practices adopted in the management of Portonave S/A's stakeholders, through a case study, using semi-structured interviews for data collection, carried out in strategic functions within the organization and corresponding to what management capacity of stakeholders advocates. The analysis of the results obtained made it possible to conclude that stakeholders must be managed continuously, as they can have a positive or negative impact. Furthermore, it was identified that there is a formal procedure for managing stakeholders, using internal and external structures. The study aims to contribute to the management of stakeholders in Brazilian port terminals.

He was a visiting professor at the National University of San Aguntin (UNSA) and a full professor at the University of Vale do Itajaí. Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Administration - Master's and Doctorate courses in Administration, teaching the disciplines of Macro-Organizational Analysis and Planning and Strategy. His research focus is on studies on environment, strategic behavior, entrepreneurial orientation, absorptive capacity, dynamic capabilities and performance.
