Abstract

In this article, we present an example of how goal-conciliation theory can model Simon's decision-making steps in administration. Evidence suggests that, due to their broader scope, plasticity, and logical consistency, management problem-solving strategies can be described and explained abductively and deductively in terms of intentional action plans toward achieving goals. In this effort, we can incorporate the decision-making steps without the logical inconvenience of reintroducing newly processed assumptions.
