Abstract

Introduction: Te growth of online educational practices, such as distance education, in the world and in Brazil is a reality. More and more educational institutions with di?erent educational objectives and levels o?er courses and disciplines that employ new Information and Communication Technologies. Floral therapy is one of the Integrative and Complementary Practices of Health and uses the essences of ?owers to take care of people´s mental, emotional and behavioral aspects. It can be used in our daily life, in a preventive or restorative way, promoting improvement in the quality of life. Objective: Tis project aims to analyze the satisfaction of the enrolled in the course of Floral Terapy, in the modality EaD (distance learning). Method: Observational and descriptive longitudinal study with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Te tools for data collection were questionnaires answered online by the volunteers before and afer the courses. Results: Expectations were reached for 93.3% of the participants, who considered the platform to be easy to use and the pedagogical didactic material adequate. Most considered that the language, content and methodology used favored learning. Final considerations: Te Introductory EaD course in Floral Terapy brought participants satisfaction and knowledge about the subject. It fulflled its purpose in teaching and promoted inclusion by allowing the participation of individuals who would have little chance of attending it due to problems mainly of time and distance.
