Abstract

Introduction: Health Promotion is the responsibility of the various sectors that constitute society, and it is also the duty of health professionals to contribute to the construction of greater degrees of autonomy of the users through Health Education actions. Naturology approaches the Promotion And Health Education, based on the Relationship of Interagency, since it is a transversal relationship that proposes co-responsibility in the thera¬peutic process, as well as the recognition and appreciation of the subjects, referred to as interagent. Objective: to identify how naturologists working in the Universal System of Health (SUS) have contributed to a greater degree of autonomy of their interagents based on the interagency, in addition to knowing their opinions about the interrelation between Interagency and Autonomy, and the contributions of Naturology to Promotion of Health. Method: the study was qualitative and exploratory; the data were collected in the field through a se¬mistructured interview with nine naturologists active in SUS and analyzed through the Bardin content analy¬sis. Results: six categories were elaborated: 1) Perception and actuation of the naturologists regarding Auto¬nomy; 2) Repercussions of the naturological care for the autonomy of the interagents; 3) Challenges in the construction of autonomy; 4) Perceptions about the Relationship of Interagency; 5) Interrelations between In¬teragency and Autonomy; 6) Contributions of Naturology for the Promotion of Health. Final considerations: it is possible to affirm that Naturology from the therapeutic approach in Interagency can meet the assumptions of Health Promotion and Education, contributing to the autonomy of the interagents.
