Objective: To verify the influence of an acupuncture protocol on the flexibility of the hamstring muscles. Methods: This is an inductive, cross-sectional, comparative and descriptive study with 50 individuals whose hamstring muscle flexibility will be assessed through the Wells Bank®, before and after the application of an acupuncture protocol. Results: It is an inductive, cross-sectional, comparative and descriptive study with 50 individuals whose hamstring muscle flexibility was assessed through the Wells Bank, before and after the application of an acupuncture protocol. This study was approved by CEP of UNISA and registered under CAAE number 25589319.5.0000.0081. Statistical analysis was performed using the Paired T Test, which calculates the difference between paired observations and the Kruskal-Wallis, used to compare two or more independent samples of the same or different sizes. The established statistical significance value was 95% or 0.05. Conclusion: The isolated acupuncture protocol demonstrated effectiveness in the flexibility of the hamstring muscles through the statistical significance of all the variables presented, including the initial and final values of flexibility of men and women who participated in this research.
